This app is the prototype therapy for vestibular therapy patients to prompt movements and activities to help patients get re accustomed to activities of daily living in a safe environment.
This application was developed to train nurses in developing a level of automaticity in the detection and correction of falls risks while under pressure and given an unrelated task.
Every time the application is run, the catagory of falls risk has a 75% chance of requiring correction, and the exact position of the object is randomized every time the application is run.
This project was one I had assigned to myself during my time at Dreamline to experiment with ARCore and Asset Bundles. I worked on this between assigned projects until I got it to a point to show management, then I got approval and more resources to push it further.
Whenever a door is selected to view from the menu, it’s bundle is downloaded asynchronously from the cloud. That way, more doors could be added to the app as a bundle without a need for user update, while keeping locally saved app files small.
This project was for an expo in 2019. The deadline for this was quite tight, about 3-4 months.
The target purpose of this application was to help train retailers about the key talking points about various shower door components.
